News on Royal Greenwich Planning

Royal Greenwich values the opinion of all those that live, work, worship, study, and volunteer in the borough. We believe that everyone has an equal and valuable voice, and we want to hear from you on how we can work together to shape and improve areas within the borough through our planning processes.

We’re consulting on the development of our new Statement of Community Involvement (SCI), to ensure local people and organisations are involved from the start of the planning process and throughout. Your feedback will help us to develop a draft SCI which will be subject to further consultation.

The SCI is our commitment to you on how we will consult and engage with the community throughout the planning process. This includes our Local Plan, individual planning applications, planning enforcement and other planning matters.

We want to ensure that:

• the Council can listen to and learn from your feedback

• you are informed about planning matters in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and how you can share your views

• you understand how to effectively use our service.

This consultation is open until 5pm on Friday 16 December 2022.
